Style Scouting: Vol. 57

Style Scouting: Vol. 57

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

I hope you have had a good week.

Now that August is almost over. This upcoming week is kind of a turning point as we all get back into our groove as we say goodbye to summer.

As I have mentioned before, I have taken the summer slow and have been focusing on back-end blog work. It feels good to have tackled the major items I needed to update.

I still have more to do, but have organized what needs to be done by using Airtable. Do you or have you used it? I am getting the hang of it, but still have not mastered it. If you use it, do you have any tips that made learning or organizing items in it easier?

This week I will be sharing a fall DIY’s that I hope inspire you in getting your house all comfy cozy ready for the fall season.

For the month of September, I am trying out a new SEARCH feature here on the blog. You can access it by going to SEARCH on the top right of any post or page any typing in what you are looking for. You can also access it by tapping on the pink magnifying glass on the right side of your screen.

If you use it, I would love to hear what you think of it, or if you preferred the the previous way I had search set up when looking for a certain post or topic.

Now as I begin to get myself ready for September, I hope you’ll find something among the links below that inspires and brightens your day.

Posts You May Have Missed This Week

Now onto the links…

Decorating

A builder grade home that is filled with charm.

A nice design portfolio of homes. I like the exterior of the Stone Farmhouse the best.

A smaller Craftsman style home with lots of nice details designed by the same architect mentioned above.

A very cozy and organized pantry.

DIY

A colorful candle holder.

I like this plant stand.

This idea is one easy way to use book pages to decorate for fall.

No more need for an ugly pet or baby gate when you can make this.

Food

I am going to make this, but leave out the sugar.

Semi-homemade breakfast treat for a crisp fall morning to go with your coffee.

If you go apple picking this fall. Baking some this way looks good.

Reading

For all my plant-based eating readers, I just bought this cookbook that is filled with doable recipes without any fancy or hard to find ingredients.

Watching

I have an Amazon Prime account and enjoyed Season 1 of A French Village, but not the fact that to watch Season 2, you have to pay another fee. Then Season 3 is free again with Prime acct. Urgh-hhh! Does stuff like this frustrate you to?

On Netflix, I just started watching The Chair. Earlier in the week I watched Poms with Diane Keaton. It wasn’t the best movie – just OK.

Fun & Interesting

Seeing these from a different angle makes them look even more impressive.

Something To Think About

You don’t have to do that.
